What a night! I decided to head outside in the 95 degree heat and humidity tonight and water my flower gardens. Of course, I had 3 little imps following me around and helping a little while I was out there. I walked by our Propane tank a few times and kept thinking that I smelled gas. I walked over to it several times and could hear a hissing noise. I have never heard a hissing noise coming from the propane tank so I thought it was weird. My hubby was out helping a friend move , so i called him and asked "does the propane tank normally Hiss?" He said he didnt think so and to either call our Friend who works for the propane co or to call the propane co. Our friend was not home and I could not reach him by cell, so I called the Co. They told me I should evacuate the house and stand far away from the "leak" area. So trying not to panic my kids I called them up from the family room and told them what was up and that we needed to go play outside for a while. The propane man came and long story short....said i made a good call..our tank was leaking, probably out a weld or something. He first checked the regulator and he could still hear the leak so he capped the line and took our tank. He just left with it!
Thank the Lord I noticed when I did. The guy asked if we needed a tank right away and i told him I wasnt planning on needing my vermont castings stove until at least OCtober...He laughed and said well, I wont tell the office that because they wont get you a new tank until November!!
Sighhhhh.
I can do all things through Christ who strenghthens me.

Lots of stuff going on!
Just thought I would give a brief ( maybe not) description of the last few weeks at the Dub-Ya house....
The boys got out of school the 9th and we headed "up North" for a family reunion ( my side) in Lancaster that weekend...that was kind of cool for me anyway to see all kinds of people I had not seen in years. ( L dub didn't find it that fun)
The week after school got out the school board had a meeting and because of a lot of unpaid tuition, and the lack of students signed up for next school year, they have decided to close SENHCA for 2007/2008 . I am very sad about this. The school had been in existance for 48 years. I understand that at one point there were 300 + students. Only 38 kids were signed up for next year :( very sad....as there is no other school in the area that I would be interested in sending by kids too...partly because other school are alot more $$ and for other reasons too. So, we will be registering our boys at Barrington Elementary for next year. I am having a little anxiety about "public school" but I don't know why, since I went to "public school "my whole childhood. I have heard that the schools in town are good. I guess if something happens..then we can always pull them out and try something else. I am getting alot of "why not try homeschooling?" We just do not think that is for our family at this point anyway. Z dub will be in kindergarten and C Dub in 4th grade. Pray for them!
Last saturday we celebrated N Dubs 2nd b day...I cannot believe he is 2 already!! I will get some pictures up soon. His real B day is this friday the 29th.
Last night we went with a group from church to a Fisher CAts/Seadogs game..that was really fun with fireworks at the end fo the game.
Today I went with a friend to Shorts sands.....water is about 50 air 96....
We will head to the lake tom. with some other friends...
Oh ya...Friday is C dub s cardiologist appt ...pray for that please.
Also pray for my step nephew.. he was born Sat ...11 lbs 13 oz at Dartmouth..due to complications..he was born with a hole in his palate and is being tube fed.
I think that is about it for the month of June....
July is around the corner and we have a camping trip planned and a few other things going on!
Good night!

Schools out for summer!!
It is officially summer vacation here at our house. The last day of school was this past Friday.
I went in for the Awards Chapel, Caleb got 3 awards, one for Bible memory, one for improved work habits and the last one for muscular endurance in PE. His report card was very good, he made honor roll for the quarter and also for his yearly average.
We are looking forward to 2 camping trips( one with kids and one without kids) and of course a week of VBT at Church. We will also be going to a Fishercats Baseball game. Daddy has been trying to get the pool up, but as of tonight it still has a hole somewhere. My cucumber plants are growing and we are excited about the blueberry plants too! Have a great summer!

Should we start building an ark??
This is crazy! We got about 3 inches of wet snow yesterday which turned to rain in the evening, and it rained all night and still has not stopped!! The noon news said we had gotten over 4 inches of rain!!
This morning I got up and checked the TV to make sure there still was school, and there was. I got the boys ready and right before I left, I called the school to make sure school was still in sesssion for the day. It was, so off we went. I crossed water(going over the road) twice on my road and got on Hansonville rd and crossed water 2 more times and then came to ALOT of water going over the road and decided I was NOT driving through that. I turned around and went back to Green Hill and headed over to 125 only crossing water 1 time in that stretch. I went through Gonic and over to Old Dover Rd to Whitehouse Rd.....when I decided I had had enough and turned around to head back home. I went back through Gonic and decided to go home a different way hoping it would be better. I got on route 16 and then off exit 13 and onto 202 which was flooded right by the highway. I drove through the water and headed up 202. I went past a friends house , and their driveway was under water, kept going and had to cross water again that was coming out of Dry Hill Road ( bad name for this rd) and across 202 and down one side very fast moving!! Finally we made it home. (45 minutes later) I got the boys inside and while I was on the phone with Hubby... a huge gust of wind and our grill blew across the deck!! Now this is a big grill with the extra burners and it even had a propane tank attached to it. It was laying on its side so I had to go out to pick it up.....not easy by myself, so I called my oldest boy out to help...he was pretty useless, anyway i pushed and pulled with all my might and got it back up! I pushed my glass and metal table up against it hoping it would stop it from blowing away again. What a day!
It is still raining and the wind is very strong and gusty but hopefully it will settle down soon. I am thankful we still have power a lot of people do not.

Pot o' white gold??
The leprechauns left us a pot of white gold......we got about a foot of snow over night!!
When I left to pick my boys up at school yesterday it was just starting to snow. It takes me about 45 minutes round trip from our house to SENHCA and when I got home it was like a blizzard!! My oldest son looked at the temp. on the way home and it was 25 degrees and he reminded me that a couple days ago (wednesday) it was 75 degrees. Crazy!! Well, I am nice and warm inside and poor hubby is outside trying to clean up the mess with the Atv and plow. I will reward him later with a nice boiled dinner. Happy green day!!

Lovin' this Beautiful March weather!
N O T!!
This is crazy, it is almost like the seasons have shifted by a month. It was nice in December and now that it is March we are still getting super COLD weather. It was 0 degrees yesterday (-25 with the wind chill), and today it is like 8 degrees! Maybe I am just getting old and cannot take the cold weather anymore. Let's just pray it doesn't snow in May!!

#1 is 9 today!!
Well, today is our first son's 9th birthday. We celebrated with a small party ( 2 friends and his 2 brothers). We took the boys down to Chuck E Cheese and they blew through almost $50 in tokens in about 1 1/2 hours. Then we came home and had pizza and cake. It has been a good day. As many of you know Caleb had a rough start into this world with his heart defects, but 2 open heart surgerys and one heart Cath. later he is a very healthy and very good kid. We are so thankful for these past nine years with him and pray that we have many more! Just think....nine more years and he will be getting ready to graduate from Highschool! Wow! Happy Birthday Caleb!!

Smurfs??
Smurfs??Nope not really, Lar and I went into "the City" (Boston) last Friday and went to dinner and then saw "Blue Man Group" at the Charles theater. What a show....kind of strange, we did not really know what to expect, but we did end up enjoying it. Friends have been asking how is it was and what it was and it is hard to explain. There is lots of drumming, some "art" , comedy, and just plain craziness (not to mention the 3 blue men)! I thought it was neat, because you never really knew what was going to happen next. We had balcony seats, but the people in the front 5 rows got rain ponchos to put on, because they make a huge mess, flying paint, shaving cream, and mushed up bananas!
It was nice to have a "date" and the best part was we drove right in to Boston and out again with out getting lost! Gotta love "Bossy Betty" ( that is our nickname for the voice in the cars navagation system). Go see Blue Man Group!!

Brrrrr!
Hubby and I just came up with a new punishment for the children .......we can put them in a room and make them watch "March of the Penguins"! We watched that today and it was pretty bad. I did learn a few Unknown (to me anyways) facts about penguins, but i am pretty sure what I did learn qualifies as useless knowledge. Our almost 9 Y Old begged us not to have to watch that again!
We also watched "Eight Below" , which was very good. I recommend it,but if you are an animal lover, you may need some tissues.
It is kind of strange that the 2 movies we watched were about Antartica and animals.......it looks like NH will be getting into the deep freeze next week. The high for Wednesday is supposed to be 14 degrees.....yikes! Stay Warm.

Nathan's book review
Nathan (18 months old) just got a cute little book for Christmas that he absolutely loves! It is very cute. The title is "Personal Penguin" by Sandra Boynton. It is meant to be sung....which is funny especially if you do not know the tune. Daddy likes to sing it in his heavy metal voice! You can download the song, Which is sung by Davy Jones on workman.com. Nathan and I highly recomend this book, I just picked up another book by the same Author titiled "Belly Button Book", it is equally as cute! Thank-you Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Dickey for the book!

Merry Christmas!
I am sure everyone is as busy as we have been. The past few weeks we have had few quiet evenings. Larry is doing the sound room for our Churchs Cantata so he's been out at few times a week for that. Our 2 oldest boys were in the SENHCA Christmas program last Friday night which meant practicing parts with them every night for the past month. It was worth all the work though because they did a great job!! We also had the ladies Tea at Church last week which was really fun and nice. This week I have been trying to finish up the Christmas shopping and ended up having car issues......arrgh! Zach's Birthday party is Saturday (he turns 5 the 22nd) and the Cantata is Sunday night. The kids get out of school the 20th which means Christmas parties there and then we will head up North to visit family probably the 24th for a couple nights. Wow sure is easy to get lost in all the things going on during this Holiday Season, I am really looking forward to spending some quiet time as familly next Friday and Saturday (although with 3 boys it never IS quiet) having our own Christmas and letting the boys play with all of there new things. I am really trying not to stress to to just keep in mind why we celebrate this wonderful Holiday............the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! Here is wishing you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Zach had a dream......
The kids do not often share when they have dreams, but yesterday Zach did.......
When he woke up, he seemed a little more quiet than normal, I asked him if he felt ok and he said " yes but I had a dream." I asked him what it was about. He said " I dreamed I had to have my eyes fixed".
I said "oh you couldn't see good?" He said "Yah I could see , but my eyes were too close together!"
I Laughed! He is so funny somtimes! I wonder what that means??

It is happening again...
Can you feel it happening?? The catalogs have started coming 5 at a time in the mail, the toy commercails on TV , and soon the Music will be heard at the Stores......its Christmas shopping season!!! They used to wait until Halloween was over but I have noticed the last week or two all of the things that "they" do to get people especially kids geared up for Christmas. It is crazy! Have fun shopping and making lists and decorating but always remember the real Reason For the Season is celebrating Jesus' Birthday. Merry Christmas!! (less than 2months to go!)

Quote of the Day
I came across this quote I thought I would share.......
" Loving the LORD is not an emotional goosebump; it is a commitment to selfless obedience."
