Today was the first day of school for all of my boys. Here are some pictures.

Hurricane

Thankfully we only lost leaves(tons) and branches. NO damage .

The boys and I used the Atv and little trailer to clean up.

The first day of school was postponed by a day because of the poweroutages in town. We only lost power for 5 hours.

We had a great week at Papoose Pond. We were on an HHK site which means you have a wooden structure with a sink, stove and cupboards on one side and in the back is a full private bathroom. It is the only way to camp! We had some rain the second night..actually it poured all night, which makes it hard to sleep in a camper (loud). The rest of the week the weather was beautiful. Our day trips included a trip to Storyland, The New Balance Outlet for back to school shoes and a couple of Fleamarkets. We did a lot of swimming in both the pool and pond, a few walks around the campground and the kids got in tons of bike riding. N-Dub became quite the swimmer! We ended our week with our Famous Fry Fest when we fried wontons, crab rangoon, cheese sticks, zuchini, potatoes, chicken, oreos (not good) and cinnamon rolls...yummmmmm!

We got home just in time to prepare for The Hurricane that was coming in the next day.

The Drive-in

Last week we decided to take the kids to the Drive-in at Weirs Beach. We usually try and do this once a summer. It is the cheapest way to see a couple of movies.....its normally 17 dollars a car but I had a coupon so we only paid $15 and got 5 of us got to see the Smurf's and Zookeeper.

Z- Dub did half day British Soccer camp this past week. He had a blast! Here are a few pictures of the last day.

We had 3 or 4 days in the mid to upper 90's with humidity last week. On Saturday evening we brought the kids down to the beach to cool off.

The peepers are out tonight! It's the first time I have heard them this spring....it was 70 this afternoon. ahhhh

April Fools!?!

We are in a winter storm warning....with 6-12 inches of heavy wet snow in the forecast....I really hope this is an April fools joke!

C-Dub's Car Z-dub and his car

This is N-Dub and his car.

Last saturday at our Church we had the Awana Grand Prix. N-Dub one 2nd place for speed in his division, Z-Dub won 1st for design and 3rd for speed in T&T division, and C-Dub didn't place but he was soooo close....the winning cars were 100ths of seconds ahead of his. Oh well, it was fun....and by the way the track was built by Burnsy and L-Dub computerized the finish line!
